Archos has announced plans to bring FOUR more Android tablets to the UK, with its latest Titanium series covering pretty much every base known to man. There will be four units, the Archos 70 Titanium, Archos 80 Titanium, Archos 101 Titanium and Archos 97 Titanium, offering 7″, 8″ 10.1″ and 9.7″ display sizes.
The 7″ model will cost just £99, the 8″ unit will be priced at £149, while the 101 costs £169 and the 97 goes for £199. The 97 is the most expensive due to coming with an HD 2048 x 1536 display. Here they all are in a nice school photograph:
All four Titanium tablets are powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core chipset alongside a quad-core GPU, and use IPS tech for their displays. Android 4.1 is the launch OS. Here’s more from Archos:

The ARCHOS 101 titanium (10.1 inches), priced at 199€, $199, £169, is around 30 per cent cheaper than competition with comparable features.
The ARCHOS 97 titanium HD (9.7 inches), with a resolution up to 2048 x 1536 pixels is priced at 249€, $249 and £199, and aims to be an alternative to the new iPad for half the price.

/ January 10, 2013£200 with that screen? That’s pretty kick-ass. I suppose it depends on how well the CPU /GPU can handle all those extra pixels. My guess it it’s not going to be super smooth.
Still significantly cheaper than a Nexus 10 and Archos stuff is pretty close to stock Android, right?
