There’s every chance the Huawei Ascend P1 is going to end up being our favourite Android model of 2012, with Huawei’s upmarket model combining the option of an unskinned Android 4.0 OS with a great camera, sweet-spot-hitting 4.3″ display and all the performance you could possibly need through a dual-core 1.5GHz chipset.
And if you would like all of that BUT IN WHITE, phone retailer Phones 4U has secured an exclusive on the white version of the mobile. It’s available for “free” starting at £20.50 a month…
…or can be bought outright on a SIM-free PAYG basis for £299. That’s a bit expensive as the standard black version can be had elsewhere for less, but it’s still a decent phone for that kind of money.
When it hits the £199 mark it’s going to become the next official day-to-day Eurodroid mobile.

/ October 29, 2012Dunno, not sure I really can live with a 4.7-incher on a daily basis. Would have to have a play with it and see if it doesn’t feel silly.

/ October 29, 2012While using the 4.65″ of the nexus, it felt just about right for me, so i dont think the 4.7″ would be too big. but i will never accept a 5″ display as a “phone”, as i still laugh at people who use that as a phone :-D
