10" Nexus Tablet on the way from Samsung?

A tech analyst quoted by Cnet claims the next Nexus tablet will be made by Samsung, with a high-res 10.1″ device said to be capable of outputting at 2560×1600 resolution. That’ll give the 10″ Nexus tablet a higher pixel-per-inch density than Apple’s “Retina” display it sticks in its latest iPad, and therefore something to shout about.

Which means the Nexus 10 tablet will inevitably be sold as a high-end device that’ll come in at quite a high price, in stark contrast to the affordable Nexus 7.

And we have EVIDENCE to back this up, as back in October of 2011 Samsung was openly demonstrating a 10.1″ mobile screen running at the exact same 2560×1600 resolution this new Nexus tablet is supposed to be using. So there. It’s definitely a thing.
