As well as being sold direct through Google’s Play Store and stocked by the Carphone Warehouse chain, Asus and Google’s Nexus 7 tablet has found itself a huge new friend in the UK’s Dixons chain of stores, which will also be selling the 16GB version of the exciting “Jelly Bean” tablet.
The Currys part of the retailer is already accepting pre-orders for the £199 Nexus 7 with the increased 16GB of onboard storage, and has attached an arrival date of July 19th to the thing. That’s the closest we’ve got to an actual solid arrival date for the Nexus 7 yet.
So if you’re not keen on getting one sent to you through the post, your nearest depressing retail park ought to have ample stock of the Nexus 7 two weeks from now. Google’s own-brand tablet now has an even greater chance of being the first proper smash hit Android tab with the masses.
