The BBC has popped up a new app to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its Horizon science series. The Android app has a timeline of episodes dating back to the 1960s, also featuring a collection of interviews with presenters who offer their favourite moments from the programme and a few clips of the most interesting bits.
In slightly related news, stacks of old Horizon episodes are now up on iPlayer too, if you fancy a break from watching and tweeting about funny mobile phone adverts.
The Google Play listing says the app is “Designed and fully optimised for iPad” which isn’t particularly clever. Whoever pasted that into the text field wants internally disciplining. Check it out here.
