LG has released a sort of teaser for a forthcoming tablet, with a new YouTube clip describing what people might like to see from its LG G Pad 8.3. The idea seems to be that most users find the iPad a bit too big for comfortable carrying and the mass of 7″ Android tablets a bit too small for media consumption, with the LG G Pad’s 8.3-inch display pitched tight in the middle.
Nothing’s shown of an actual device in the YouTube clip, just a lot of people rambling on about tablet features…
…but that’s definitely the name. Too many fonts going on there in that logo, BTW. We didn’t think LG would ever go back into tablets after the laughably disastrous £800 LG Optimus Pad of 2011, but if it can get this new 8.3″ thing on sale at anything like the price of the Nexus 7, we’d definitely think about it.
