The IAAF has launched an Android app, designed to let athletics fans stay up to date with the world of track and field sports. It’s best used in conjunction with live events, like the 2013 World Championships that are currently underway, giving users live results as they happen, medal tables, news, photos and much more to leaf through.
It’s very modern in terms of adhering to Android’s current design sensibilities, even down to including the in-from-the-left sidebar thing, plus you also get notifications when results come in, which is very useful if you’re not able to watch things unfold live on TV. Here it is:
