Temple Run 2 now live on Android

The popular “infinite runner” game Temple Run 2 has now arrived on Android after a brief exclusivity period on iOS devices, with Imangi Studios launching a free, ad-supported version of its updated dodge/collect game on Google Play for us Android-using lot to all have a play with.

Temple Run 2 certainly looks much, much better than the last version, now featuring colourful, jazzy textures and generally busier environments, plus — wait for it! — there’s now a mine cart level.

A few years ago we used the inclusion of a mine cart level as the ultimate mark of shame in a video game. Times have changed. The bar has been lowered by all this casual junk. People will love it.

We’ll continue playing the staggeringly awesome Super Hexagon until we literally snap our phone in HALF out of frustration, but if you’d prefer something a little more casual, Android Temple Run 2 is here.

Seconded. Pitfall is really good fun and way better than Temple Run, in my opinion.
