Samsung has announced plans to launch an enhanced version of the world-beating Galaxy S II, with the updated S II combining a 4.3″ 480 x 800 display with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and Android 4.1.2 as its launch OS. Samsung’s announcement is lacking any launch dates or timelines for the Galaxy S II Plus’ arrival, so it’s a bit up in the air as to whether we’ll see the thing here or not.

Samsung GALAXY S II Plus

Seoul, Korea – January 10, 2013 – Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. announced today Samsung GALAXY S II Plus, which combines the performance that have made the GALAXY S II one of the world’s most recognized phones, together with nature-inspired user-interface and intuitive features that greatly boost its usability and functionality.

  1. I think Samsung has lot the plot. There is no need for them to release the same phone the only difference is that it is running a different soc i think and has jellybean.

They should have at least update the original S2 to jellybean first.

Was gonna wait for the Galaxy S4 but might switch to htc
