"Dance to play the new album from Calvin Harris!"

Calvin Harris, who we suspect is one of today’s modern pop stars because his name sounds slightly familiar, has a new album out. Rather cleverly, there’s also a version of it available for free on the Play Store, although there’s one big catch — you have to keep moving your phone to listen to the music, as if you’re dancing to the tunes.

Users are also able to unlock extra content by jumping through a few hoops, with the app asking you to take a photo of the album’s actual cover in order to access some remixed tracks.

It’s all quite clever indeed. The 18 Months app is on the Play Store here for free. So if you’re not entirely sedentary and would rather listen to Calvin instead of Rolf, give it a try.

  1. This album is awesome, I purchased it on the second it came out, and has brilliant songs. If you really don’t know who he was then you seriously need to get out, watch tv, or turn on a radio once in a while. Drinking from the bottle is my fav :-) You must at least know Im Not Alone from 2009? I like the idea behind this app though :-D

(P.s. im not really calvin ;))
