Strategy-based footie game Fluid Football has been around on iOS for quite some time, picking up rave reviews from mobile gamers after a more challenging and thoughtful, football-themed title. Now we get a play on it, with a free (but with in-app payments) version of Fluid Football up on Google’s Play Store.
For the most part it plays like the tactical displays used by commentators, with gamers swiping their movements and strategies on the display for their little pretend footballers to follow, and a bigger, 3D section for popping away the goals.
Very nice. Not quite as exciting as watching the rowing from Eton Dorney and sobbing along with Clare Balding in the Aquadome, but it’ll fill a small part of the sport-based hole in our lives.
Android Fluid Football’s on the Play Store here.
