Galaxy S III Jelly Bean update now live for Three UK users

The first wave of official network Android updates for the Galaxy S III have arrived in the UK, with mobile operator Three confirming the Jelly Bean 4.1 release is now live and ready for download and installation. Users who bought their Galaxy S III mobiles through Three should be prompted to download the 285MB file right now.

The update takes the Galaxy S III to version s 4.1.1 of Google’s mobile OS. That’s quite exciting.

        yes, LG make great hardware.

There software sucks balls….. and i was burned with that on the o2x.

Since its a nexus… google will look after the software side of things.

Also LG makes the best screens, and they buy the processors, of qualcomm etc so the only thing they have to do is put all the parts together in a shell and from the leaks its looks pretty good, better than the cheap plastic sammy uses.

“Jellybean! Woof, woof, woof! I love jellybeans! Woof, woof woof!” exclaimed Rover whilst drooling all over Natasha’s stomach.

If Google manage to make a Nexus phone that is up to date specs wise, decent camera etc I’d have one just so I didn’t have to wait 6 months for the latest version of Android. The only thing that stopped me from buying the last one was that lousy 5mp shooter.

yes same here, i got the GS2 a couple of weeks before hand and thought the gs2 was better since the specs were slightly better and the camera was better.

My G/F’s sister has an orange GS2 and is still on gingerbread as it says theres no new updates for it.

My sister got the Gnexus and is on 4.1.2…… so from now on, regardless of specs its nexus or nothing

  4. Hello! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site?
I’m getting fed up of WordPress because I’ve had problems with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform. I would be fantastic if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
