The very poorly kept secret that an updated HTC One X is soon to arrive has been turned into OFFICIAL FACT by UK network O2, which currently features a listing for the HTC One X+ in its latest in-house magazine.
The listing tells us that the HTC One X+ will arrive with a high-end 64GB of onboard storage, an internal processor with its clock speed jacked up to 1.7GHz from the first One X’s 1.5GHz, plus Google’s “Jelly Bean” 4.1 version of Android is pre-loaded as the new smartphone’s OS. Can’t argue with that.
Plus the same very useful 25GB of additional free Dropbox space is supplied. Still quite on the expensive side, but ought to be enough to sell a few to those who prefer HTC’s way of doing Android. Read our review of the original HTC One X here.

/ September 28, 20121GB or 2Gb of RAM?
Tegra 3 or S4 micro?
Battery same size or not?
64GB is much better but i’d still prefer an SD-Card slot.
But i’m really happy with my One X – but I’ll be upgrading as soon as I can…

/ September 28, 2012If leaked specs on engadget are anything to go by then;
1GB RAM (Same As One X)
Tegra 3 (Same As One X)
1800mAh Battery (same as One X)
So apart from a the storage increase, slightly updated sense UI and a bit faster processor it’s basically the same.
Not worth the upgrade from the original IMO

/ September 28, 2012I’m sorry but as soon as I see capacitive buttons my heart sinks. Time for HTC and Samsung for that matter to embrace the vision that Google handed them and move to on screen buttons.

/ September 28, 2012I like capacitative screen, it means I get the full screen for the content and not reduced by onscreen buttons.

/ September 28, 2012So you like less screen but more room for buttons? Can’t have it both ways.

/ September 28, 2012Or a bigger phone with even more bezel. You can never have too much bezel right?
