Well, we certainly liked Bomberman. In fact, the older we get, the more we realise how much we like Bomberman, and the more we regret not spending enough time playing Bomberman in the past. So yes, the idea of a “homage” to Bomberman on Android seems like a very good idea indeed.
The game’s FireLords HD, which is up on the Play Store for £1.23. It comes with motion-sensing controls, if you want them, or more reliable touch options, plus 40 levels to be getting on with. Sadly, though, there’s no multiplayer option. And here it is:
Not bad. It looks like Konami, the usual publisher of the Bomberman series, does have an official Android Bomberman game out there, but it’s not been updated since 2010 – and doesn’t offer any multiplayer options. That needs to be sorted out.
