Huawei has just issued a few more details about it next couple of Android tablets, fleshing out its UK plans for both the high-end MediaPad 10HD and the lower spec MediaPad 7 Lite Android 4.0 tablets.
The big posh one, the MediaPad 10HD, is coming to the UK, with Huawei’s UK people giving us a vague launch date of Q1 2013 for the quad-core Android 4.0 tab. The MediaPad 10HD is a 10″ device that outputs at 1920×1200 resolution, plus there’s an 8megapixel camera in there for… looking like a bit of an idiot using it as a camera.
That’s the MediaPad 10HD, complete with optional keyboard, plus there will be a USB Ethernet dongle adaptor available for pretending it’s a laptop. It’s only 8.8mm thick. It’s quite nice.
And this is the lower end model, the Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite. Huawei UK says we’ll be seeing this one in Q4 of 2012, when it’ll be battling the masses of other cheap Chinese tablets with its 7″ 1024×600 IPS display and 1.2GHz single-core Cortex A8 processor.
