Here’s official word on yet another Sony Android model for 2012, the very latest Xperia T. The phone, which has previously been known in a series of internet leaks as the Xperia Mint, will arrive running Android 4.0, with Qualcomm’s powerful, dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor inside to handle the complicated business of being a smartphone.
The Xperia T manages to eclipse Sony’s recent Xperia S and even the newly announced Xperia SL by offering a 13megapixel camera with 16x digital zoom, 1080p capture and a secondary front-facing cam capable of 720p recording, along with a 4.6″ Reality Display running at the 1280×720 HD resolution.
And yet another slightly different hardware design. The Xperia T contains 16GB of onboard storage, plus the built-in battery has a 1,850mAh capacity and there’s NFC tech included – and an SD card slot. We like it. It’s yet another flagship from Sony.
