Microsoft’s go at cloud-based file storage has arrived on Android, with an official SkyDrive app now available. It’s a simple little thing that lists files you’ve previously uploaded to the service and lets you share more from your phone, presented in a clean, Metro-like style.
There are no auto-upload options we could find, so it’s a little lacking compared with the awesome Android Dropbox app, but if you need a little more storage space and have an old Microsoft account it’ll be of some use.
SkyDrive has its own built-in gallery that it uses when sharing photos, complete with multi-select for uploading groups. Very simple apart from that. Android SkyDrive is on the Play Store here.
