The Chinese super-budget Android tablet scene has thrown up some superb bargains in the sub-£100 range, now here’s a 10″ model for less than £100. The Disgo DISTAB8104R offers a 10.1″ capacitive display and Android 4.0 for a bonkers £99, which is the current asking price for the tablet over at Dixons.
For that you get a 1024 x 600 display, front-facing camera, 6,500mAh battery, 4GB of onboard storage space plus additional SD card support, but only 512MB of RAM.
Might be a bit rubbish, but for £99 there’s no cheaper way to get a 10″ Ice Cream Sandwich tablet out there right now. Ideal for a child to play Angry Birds on for 22 hours a day, at least.
Here are the tech specs of the DISTAB8104R Tablet PC:

/ August 23, 2012Looks good, except for the screen. It has a pixel density of 118ppi – even less than the HTC Wildfire (125ppi).
