Developer Square Enix, the current boss of the Tomb Raider franchise, has just launched Lara Croft: Guardian of Light for Android users, although the game is currently only available to owners of the new Xperia S and Sony’s older Xperia PLAY gaming phone.
Usually these Xperia exclusives expire after a month has passed, so check back on August 16 or thereabouts to see if it’s available on phones other than those made by Sony. The game is currently priced at 99p, which is a bit of a bargain for a BIG NAME title. Here’s what it looks like:
Hmm. Would appear to be aimed at those who enjoy standing in the middle of an “environment” while holding a stick. Square Enix says you can expect “Console-quality HD graphics” if you plump for it. Lara Croft: Guardian of Light is on the Play Store here.
