STATS: Android 4.0 now on nearly 11% of all Android devices

Google has once again issued its monthly update of its Android Platform Versions data, giving us a broad overview of the various versions of the OS in use out there today. The numbers are collated by counting connections to the Play Store during the two weeks ending July 2nd.

As you might’ve been expecting what with all the new phone launches and some big updates arriving recently, Android 4.0 is a big mover, increasing its share of the Android market from 6% in the previous data to very nearly 11% by the end of June.

Next time we should see Jelly Bean appear in this exciting green pie chart, after those Nexus 7 pre-orders start landing on doorsteps later in July.
