Motorola’s European team has notified us of a new update that’s now available for the Motorola RAZR, with owners in the UK, Italy, France and Spain in line to receive a slightly enhanced OS today.
This is nothing as exciting as the “Ice Cream Sandwich” update, instead it’s a tweak to the RAZR’s Android 2.3 build, which takes it up to Android 2.3.6, with the maker saying it should bring “…new Smart Actions sample rules like VIP Caller Mode and Auto Text SMS, as well as improved camera performance and better battery life” to the phone.
Obviously all the RAZR owners are very angry indeed that this isn’t the Android 4.0 update the RAZR’s in line to receive some time during Q2 of this year. But still. It’s an update. Something to do.
