The “Ice Cream Sandwich” update for Samsung’s fantastic Galaxy S II model is now available for UK Android users who bought their phones through the Three network. The surprisingly fast turnaround of Samsung’s OS update was announced a few minutes ago on the network’s Twitter page. Lots of men are now very excited indeed.
As ever with Samsung software updates, you’ll have to conduct the process through the company’s KIES desktop updating tool…
…and then you’ll be wanting to take the rest of the day off to fiddle with Android 4.0 and all its many new delights. Let us know if you’ve got it. We’re seriously considering picking up an SII on the cheap to be part of all the fun.

/ March 21, 2012Got it yesterday (Three Ireland). TouchWiz is really bad, Launcher Pro not working, few apps on SD were causing constant reboots. After changing to Apex Launcher all is great! Like a new phone.
