Google Play app updated to include "All" your past apps tab

A new version of the Google Play app is making its way on to phones around the world, adding in a new tabbed layout beneath the ‘My Apps’ part of the system. This now lets you scroll all the way back in time through your entire history of app installations, letting you, well, cringe at how awful some things were in Android’s early days.

You’re also able to sort app reviews and filter them by app version and device type, plus there’s a menu for toggling between Google accounts if you have more than the one.

The app also changes the “Play Shop” icon to one that says “Play Store”. It was nice seeing the word “shop” there for a while.

Android Police is hosting the APK if you’d like to download it directly and give the marginally updated Shop app a try.

This isn’t a US version since there aren’t separate versions of the store for different countries. The app name in the en-GB strings has been changed from “Play Shop” to “Play Store”. However there are still many references to “Play Shop” left in the application. It could be a mistake or Google may actually be changing the name for the UK.
