The little French tech company has yet another alternate version of its G9 tablets up for order over on its web site, with the 1.5GHz “Turbo” editions of the tablets now available for order with Google’s “Ice Cream Sandwich” version of the OS installed.
This means you can get the 8″ 4:3 aspect ratio Archos 80 G9 with Android 4.0 onboard for £199, while the larger Turbo model lets you have ICS on a 10″ display for £269.
Given the way Archos has been doing such a great job with continuous bug-fixes and updates (at least for this pair of models), that’s a pretty good option for getting a tablet with a tablet OS.

/ March 15, 2012And how about the first tablets, that have never seen any Android OS for tablets, but still have the slow phone software Android 2.2? Archos has forgotten about the early adaptors, poor after sales. I don’t recommend anybody to buy this french crap, if you don’t believe me, just try and have the same opinion within a year with loss of your money.

Never, never a product from Archos again. What a nightmare and what a loss o money.
Go for another brand and pay more for serius support and software.. I will use my money on Asus Im so happy for my TF 101 and will soon buy the new Asus tablet Prime.
Then we can talk about max value for you money
