Motorola MOTOLUXE Android 4.0 update "in evaluation"

Motorola has updated its list of future OS update plans, adding the new MOTOLUXE to its schedules. Still, it’s optimistic news if you’ve been tempted by the recently launched affordable 4″ Android model.

Slightly odd that the original wi-fi XOOM is scheduled to get the Android 4.0 update in Q2, but there’s no date for the upgrade of the 3G model. That’s going to infuriate buyers of the costlier hardware.

It does infuriate buyers of the Xoom 3G, i.e… me (I think I’m the only one). Is there really such a big difference between the wifi and 3g models that it would take so much longer to upgrade it?
