The HTC EVO 3D has once again been discounted, with the online wing of ASDA now selling the phone for £249 plus a few quid for delivery if you live somewhere sensible. For that you get an unlocked version of the EVO 3D without a SIM card, plus, of course, all the glasses-free 3D Android fun you can handle.
The EVO 3D is also available on a stupidly cheap £20.50 tariff over at Phones4U. If HTC had released the phone for a more sensible price to begin with it might’ve earned a bit of a bigger following.
Pretty incredible to see phones like this more than halving in price in the space of sixth months or so.

/ January 20, 2012The makers are pricing these devices out of reach of people. Unless they’re available on contract they will not sell SIM free at the £400+ price bracket. Certainly not while there are plenty of cheaper variants, and also at that high price there are far more desirable devices.
At £250 a pop these could have flown off the shelves!
