Orange has just revealed it’s about to move into offering branded Android tablets alongside its Orange range of phones, showing off the new Tahiti from Orange. It is a 7″ tablet running Android 3.2, with a surprisingly powerful 1.2GHz dual-core processor running the show.
Not much more is revealed on the technical side of things, aside from the fact it contains a 5megapixel camera around the back. Here it is. If we’re not very much mistaken, that’s actually the Huawei MediaPad!
The Orange Tahiti will be available on monthly contracts for a £69.99 initial fee, followed by a £25 monthly payment – which gets you 1GB of peak data use and an additional 1GB of off-peak downloading. Whoops.
