Popular family research site Ancestry has had a beta Android app out there for some time, now it’s launched the full, finished version. Ancestry lets you display and research your family tree on Android, adding and searching for people, historical documents and more, building up a visual timeline of how you came to exist.
And look, there’s some sort of Android tablet mode as well:
Find out which side your grandad was on in the war by downloading Ancestry from the Android Market here. The app’s free to download and use, but you’ll need to pay for an account in order to use the full spectrum of services and document databases on offer.
