Motorola has been broadcasting a set statement to its many disgruntled European users, updating everyone on the status of European Android updates for its XOOM, MILESTONE 2 and the original ATRIX.
Put simply… the XOOM 3.2 update is coming “end of October” while the ATRIX and MILESTONE 2 should both get their Android 2.3 updates from “mid-November”. Here’s the full thing from Motorola:
“Many of you are eagerly awaiting the 2.3 upgrade for Motorola ATRIX and Motorola Milestone 2; as well as 3.2 for Motorola XOOM and we’re pressing ahead to get the new software ready. Due to some additional fixes that needed to be made, we’re now working towards releasing the software for Motorola XOOM at the end of October and for Motorola ATRIX and Milestone 2 in mid-November. We will let you know as soon as we are able to make the software available to you”
Which is all the excuse we need to bust out the old ATRIX “sexy spy” photographs:
So, Miss D’Call, you can stop constantly checking for updates for the next month – and even then, god knows how long it’ll take Orange and T-Mobile to push it through their end.
