A whole heap of additional images of Android 4.0 and new facts about the OS update can be found over on Google’s Android Developers site. It goes into new details about the text input and spell checker, new Notifications system, the amazingly in-depth network data tools, refreshed browser and tab system and much more.
It’s all out there now. Here are a handful of the new Android 4.0 images.
Best feature? Although the new browser isn’t the mobile version of Google Chrome we were hoping for, it does now support Chrome’s bookmark sync options, plus official support for offline reading of pages. The new browser tab system looks fantastic, too, and that Calendar widget is well swish. It’s all very upgrade-worthy indeed.

/ October 19, 2011This is frickin’ awsome! Admittedly 4.0 resembles Windows 7 here and there to some extent but it’s really lovely. Everything looks very “flat” but clear and simple, very sophisticated.

/ October 19, 2011Just to mention: I HATE that far-spread non-Brit word ‘awesome’ (what you can see as I forgot an ‘e’ in it) but here it’s really appropriate.
