Samsung’s Galaxy W is now available through the Three UK site, which will do you one of Samsung’s new mid-range Android phones on monthly tariffs starting at £22. For that you don’t get much, just 100 calling minutes, 5000 SMS messages and a 500MB mobile data allowance.
Or you can get it on a PAYG basis for £249. Or with “All You Can Eat” data for £25. There are lots of options. We won’t bother listing them all, as that’ll be very boring for everyone.
The Galaxy W sounds like quite a decent option. It comes with a 3.7″ 480×800 screen, 1.4GHz single-core processor, Android 2.3 and 1GB of memory, plus a 5megapixel camera with LED flash AND a front-facing chat cam. There’s plenty worse out there. Check out Three’s pricing plans here.
We’ve previously put the Galaxy W’s spec sheet online here, if you’re in the market for a decent, workmanlike upgrade.
