Samsung has rather quietly launched the 8.9″ version of its Galaxy Tab Android range in the UK, with the mid-sized tablet currently available at HMV. The price is a bit of a sticking point, to be honest, with the retailer currently asking for £389.
Given that the 10.1″ version of the Tab can be had for around £399, that’s a rather odd move. Can’t see there being queues round the block for this one.
That price has thrown a cold bucket of water over our plans to possibly get one.
