Kogan reveals 8″ and 10″ Agora capacitive Android tablets

Budget tech maker Kogan has just added a 10″ tablet to its Australian web shop, along with a new 8″ model, which will accompany its existing 7″ Kogan Agora 7. And as with the smaller version of the tablet, both come with a capacitive touchscreen and a very competitive price.

The Oz version of the Agora 10 sells for $191 at the moment, which translates to approximately £121 before taxes at today’s exchange rate – the 8″ version is $150 or £96. If they can launch them anywhere near those prices over here, we may have a winner, if you don’t mind Android 2.3 as your tablet OS.

Android 2.3 does look a bit crappy on the big screen these days, doesn’t it? The Agora 10 and 8 tablets launch in Oz on November 4th or thereabouts. We’ll almost certainly get them later (guess).

No it does not – I have one. It is a 1GHz A8 cpu.
It also works fine with flash. It is a bargain and works great. I recommend it.
