Google outlines plans for “Ice Cream Sandwich” tablet and phone app convergence

Google’s Developer Blog has just uploaded a new basic guide for Android app developers, giving them tips on how to ready their apps for the imminent arrival of the next unified version of Android.

The main THRUST of the article is that Google suggests all future tablet apps ought to support phone-sized screens as well, thanks to the future “Ice Cream Sandwich” release bringing Android 3.0 features to the mobile versions of the OS.
