ViewSonic has once again tweaked its Android tablet range, revealing that its new 7″ model that will go on sale in “late September” for a European price of €349. Which is about £310 at today’s exchange rate.
The previously announced ViewPad 7x will now launch with Android 3.2 onboard, while ViewSonic is making a big deal of using “injection moulding” to offer an oddly rounded, extra-durable case design. Here’s a fairly poor photograph that is the best we can currently locate:
This image comes from the ViewSonic UK site, so we’re not entirely sure why it has Pocket-Lint branding all over it. The ViewPad 7x is a Tegra 2 powered device, with a 1024×600 resolution, 10-point multi-touch screen.
It has dual cameras, plus ViewSonic is pre-loading the full version of the LogMein Ignition remote desktop management app.

Is it just me, or do Viewsonic’s tablets always seem slightly underpar? The only one that I can think of which is any good is the Viewsonic GTablet, which we don’t even have in Britain…then again, we have the Advent Vega, which I guess is good enough.
