After yesterday’s shock news that Apple has successfully won the right to have Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 pulled from retail across most of Europe, news has emerged that Apple is also targeting Motorola – with its XOOM tablet next in the firing line.
According to FOSS Patents, passages in the original German complaint against Samsung also reference Motorola’s XOOM, with Apple apparently also seeking to have the rival table pulled from shelves due to the tablet allegedly infringing Apple’s hardware design patents.
And all this comes as Apple is crowned the most valuable company in the world thanks to its rocketing share price. The world is giving its money to the wrong people.
