Oh yes. This is niche. After a relatively successful spell on iOS devices, N3V Games has published its railway management game Trainz Simulator on the Android Market. In return for around £3.32 you get to “build and operate the railroad of your dreams” via a game optimised for use on tablets – with graphical enhancements for those using Tegra 2 hardware.
The game’s listing says it requires Android 2.3 or higher to run, so if you have a relatively modern tablet it ought to be available.
Check out the full listing on the Market, where one of the feature bullet points is “Drive Loads of Trains”. Chance of a lifetime, that. For further and more advanced reading, check out the Tegra/iPad comparison photos over on the developer’s blog.

It’s not visible on my DHD.

/ July 24, 2011Nope, nothing I’ve used with 2.3 is showing as available either. Must be designated tablet-only. Weird way of doing things.
