Ubuntu One Files “personal cloud service” now on Android

Ubuntu One Files has been designed to help Ubuntu users sync their data via the pretend invisible place we call “the cloud”. You’ll need an Ubuntu One account to make it work, but registering is free – and you get 2GB of magical sky-based file storage space along with the basic package.

It’ll automatically back-up your photos, if you so wish. This is what you’ll see:

We’re mainstream Windows users all the way here, so can’t really comment on if it works. The comments seem to suggest it does, though. Check it out on the Android Market here.

    Ubuntu One is also available for Windows Users. Very similar to Dropbox
