We haven’t tried the Mufin Player yet, but what it promises is pretty interesting. Load it up on your phone and it’ll “analyse” your music collection, organising the results into visual collections based around similar-sounding tracks.
Then, it presents your song collection in a series of baffling, multitouch-enabled screens. The maker says it’s “like google maps for music” and it looks like this:
The player’s just been updated to version 1.5 which now includes the ever-popular ability to “scrobble” your musical tastes with a Last.fm account. Sounds good. Check it out here if you haven’t got much else on tonight.
