If you missed the crazy £399 launch deal that O2 bafflingly offered when the S II launched, there’s another decent way to get the sizzling Android phone for a (comparatively) nice price. Amazon is now selling the thing for £429.49 including postage, plus, of course, it’ll arrive unlocked for use on all networks.
Not as amazing as when O2 went completely mad, but still pretty good.
Feel a bit silly suggesting that spending £429 is in any way a “deal” – but the Galaxy S II is holding its launch price well and is yet to see any serious discounting. So if you want one, they’ve got you over a barrel.

/ June 27, 2011£430 is really quite reasonable. The Sensation is £450 from Three for comparisons sake: http://threestore.three.co.uk/payg/dealsummary.aspx?offercode=DSL15PP295&id=1300&_$ja=tsid:10927|cc:|prd:DSL15PP295|cat:Mobile+Phone%26gt%3BPay+As+You+Go%26gt%3BHTC%26gt%3BHTC+Sensation&AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1

/ June 28, 2011I acquired one after reading the review here. Marvellous phone. Still not entirely sure about all the Samsung tweaks, but otherwise 9.999/10.

/ June 28, 2011Hmm, I’d just decided to sign my life away to T-mobile for two years to get it for 350. An extra 80 quid is only 3 pounds a month difference. Complicated business this phone buying.
Oh, and it appears to have dropped a further 5 quid since you’ve posted.
