The gradual adding of features to the official Android Facebook app continues, with the social network updating its Google app to version 1.6 today. The key new feature is support for video uploads from your phone, plus an “improved” News feed and the ability to view Facebook Pages on your mobile.
We’re only seeing the old 1.5.4 version on the Android Market at the moment, despite what Facebook says – so here are a couple of stock images from an older version:
Maybe we’ll put up some new images of it tomorrow, if it appears on our phone and if it looks any different. Thanks to reader Mark for the tip.

/ June 25, 2011This isn’t an upgrade, it’s a downgrade. Where the previous version worked fine on tablets, the new one can’t be installed on them at all.
Total waste of time.

/ June 27, 2011That better not be right. You’d really hope Facebook might have a little more resource to dedicate to this sort of thing.
