It looks like ZTE is about to officially launch an Android update for the popular Orange San Francisco in Europe this month, with a report quoting ZTE’s French office claiming the OS upgrade will arrive in the “last week of June”.
It’ll only update the impressive Android phone to the Android 2.2 “FroYo” version of the OS, but is still good news for San Francisco owners who don’t fancy going down the unofficial ROM root.
It’s the miracle phone that just won’t stop being awesome. Orange is still selling the thing for £99 (plus a £20 top-up, which is actually a recent price increase!) if you want to own a piece of the magic.

/ June 18, 2011Will this be an OTA update? If so, will I need to be using the phone on its original network? I’ve unlocked the handset to use it on another network.
