We’ve been trying without success to access HTC’s HTC Sense web site for several days, only to be greeted by a maintenance notification upon signing in each time. It looks like the site has been offline for quite a few users since the middle of last week, which is quite an inconvenience if you subscribe to HTC’s way of doing things.
Here’s what’s been annoying us about twice a day since Wednesday:
Anyone else having trouble accessing the site? Having looked around a bit, it appears this is a regular and ongoing issue that’s restricting access for many.
HTC’s 4.3″ dual-core Android model, powered by Qualcomm’s all-new S4 processor. It’s smaller than the enormous One X, but is it as nice as its bigger brother? (SPOILER: Yes it is).
HTC is very much B-A-C-K at the top of the Android world with this, its quad-core flagship for 2012. Great camera, huge 4.7″ display and Android 4.0 running beautifully well.
Sony returns with an all-new mobile design for 2012, pairing a dual-core processor with a 720p display. It’s a lovely phone, but is it enough to end our Samsung and HTC obsession?
LG’s updated Prada phone comes with an absolutely crazy black & white theme, but is it just for fashionable suit wearers who want to make themselves look a bit more interesting?

/ May 28, 2011The website is a real pain in that only once have I managed to log on and do things like find my phone, make it ring or see contacts and txt messages etc which is what HTC kept trumpeting about when I purchased a HTC Desire HD back in November.
I done my bit contacting customer services email and phone and just kept saying they are aware of technical issues, shame as it’s could be a really good feature of owning a HTC phone

/ May 28, 2011I just managed to login via my phone and access HTC Hub, which triggered a series of errors about being “unable to connect to the HTC Sense server”.
So maybe it is working partially, only not very reliably?

/ May 28, 2011HTC hub is a different site but I sometimes get that error when I use the HTC likes widget and hub widget and can’t connect properly.

/ May 29, 2011I just called HTC and to my surprise they answered! They stated the website has been down for “some time now” and once it is back up they would be happy to give me a call or send an email.
Don’t waste your time thinking it’s your phone or your computer, it’s just their website.
