A few weeks ago we PHYSICALLY RECOILED IN HORROR when Carphone Warehouse attached a speculative £799 price to the 3D LG Optimus Pad tablet. Well, the site has now altered the listing, reducing the price to… £749 for a SIM-free model.
Still not a particularly engaging retail prospect. However, the site is also offering the tablet on subsidised data tariff plans, which start at £25 per month for a Talkmobile deal including 5GB of data. But there’s a £299 upfront fee on that, too.
Best not bother. Maybe in a year it’ll cost something sensible when
LG needs to clear out its warehouses. Link via Recombu.
