Vodafone UK has just let slip the existence of the HTC Sensation, with a holding page for the as-yet unannounced new Android phone now up on the site – and confirming quite a few of the rumoured technical details.
The HTC Sensation does indeed feature a huge 4.3″ SLCD QHD screen, there’s an 8megapixel camera with LED flash around the back accompanied by a 1.2mp front-facing second camera, plus the processor is confirmed as being a 1.2GHz model – although Vodafone doesn’t actually say if it’s dual-core or not.
We’ll presume it is until told otherwise.
HTC’s rather stop-gap showing of Mobile World Congress is a distant memory. Hopefully HTC will release an official tech spec sheet for this later today.
UPDATE:
Looks like Vodafone have pulled the page. It’ll be back later, once things have been made official.

/ April 12, 2011According to news I read elsewhere it’s powered by a dual core 1.2ghz Snapdragon processor. Looking pretty nifty! Next time round I’m so not buying a phone on a two year contract :)
