The UK arm of O2 has attached a launch date to its holding page for the Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY, claiming the gaming phone will arrive on April 1st. That would make it one of the first of Mobile World Congress 2011′s hot new Android phones to hit the market, if it can manage to stick to that time frame.
And look! O2 is also to stock the HTC Desire S and Xperia Arc.
The Xperia PLAY would be our third choice out of that selection. We’d go Arc, Desire S, Xperia PLAY.
