Google held a special Android event today, which it used to fully brief the press about many of the new features found in the tablet version of Android 3.0, which we’ve come to know as Honeycomb.

The panel to the left is Android 3.0′s new multitasking menu. It’s the Android recently used list, only made much prettier thanks to the inclusion of little screenshots of recent apps.
This is the new “stack” widget format. Your brain will not be able to cope with the amount of DATA that’s going to get stuffed into it.
This is the new Home screen customisation page. Even the bloody menu screens are awesome in Android 3.0.
The built-in Android 3.0 Google Books app.
And that’s the new Notifications area. It’s all very, very slick.
