The future is NOW. Google has just flipped the switch on its new Android Market web store, letting users login, browse apps, buy apps and manage their settings and important phone stuff via the web.
We are signing in in AWE at this very minute:
Head to http://market.android.com/ as QUICKLY AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE to try out Android’s new online store. I’m currently getting an “invalid” error when trying to sign in, so it’s perhaps not quite open for business.
UPDATE:
Following a few sign-in issues at launch, the site is now pretty much fully operational bar the odd server error.
That’s me and my phones. This is literally the most exciting day of the millennium so far.
HTC’s 4.3″ dual-core Android model, powered by Qualcomm’s all-new S4 processor. It’s smaller than the enormous One X, but is it as nice as its bigger brother? (SPOILER: Yes it is).
HTC is very much B-A-C-K at the top of the Android world with this, its quad-core flagship for 2012. Great camera, huge 4.7″ display and Android 4.0 running beautifully well.
Sony returns with an all-new mobile design for 2012, pairing a dual-core processor with a 720p display. It’s a lovely phone, but is it enough to end our Samsung and HTC obsession?
LG’s updated Prada phone comes with an absolutely crazy black & white theme, but is it just for fashionable suit wearers who want to make themselves look a bit more interesting?

But I can’t get it to install anything on my phone!
So, according to this site, I now have a few free apps “installed” on my phone, but nothing was pushed to it.

/ February 3, 2011Works a treat and handles multiple Android devices logged in to the same account perfectly. It is a much more comfortable way to pop apps on to the Android device – I’ll probably not use Market on the mobile unless I’m away from my Mac+Browser.

/ February 4, 2011Works great. So much easier to browse from the PC and then push the apps to your phone. This is a neat solution. You need to have GTalk running on your phone so that it can download the apps. Be warned that it would not log me out of the website so make sure you are not using a public PC.
