The recent CES show was kind of exciting, but for us European phone users it’ll be February’s Mobile World Congress that’ll see the real next-generation Android phones appear.
And there will be some cheap and cheerful ones, too, such as the Samsung Galaxy Mini – an Android 2.2.1 phone running at the ultra-low screen resolution of 240×320. It’s Samsung’s HTC Wildfire.
The Galaxy Mini won’t grab many headlines, but will sell like hotcakes when the networks start selling it for £15 a month. It is a brave little pawn in the game. Link via Samsung Hub.
