We’ve just received the official UK confirmation of the launch of those four new Samsung Galaxy Android phones, along with launch dates of March for the Galaxy Mini, Galaxy Fit and Galaxy Ace, with Samsung UK saying the Galaxy Gio should arrive here in April.
Along with the announcement came news that Samsung is to include an “Entertainment Bundle” with new Galaxy S phones sold in the UK during February and March – similar to the one included with the Galaxy Tab. This is what you get:
In addition to the four new devices, Samsung has also announced the availability of a new free entertainment bundle for anyone buying a Samsung Galaxy S from 1st February until 31th March 2011. Now also featuring Froyo, Galaxy S owners can enjoy an even faster performance when they’re browsing the web and access to even more apps than before, including GoogleMaps in 3D. It’s just as easy for existing Galaxy S owners to upgrade their handsets by using online video tutorials on how to upgrade, making the process easy and simple.
Some films and some games. This is the telephone in question:
We suspect this is a “deck clearing” exercise to help shift as many units of the Galaxy S over the next couple of months, before the phone’s possible successor hits the market.
